In my unending quest to discover more variety whilst keeping away from fructose, I have now added Pecks Chicken and Ham paste (.6g sugar per 100g) which is perfect on toast (think budget pate) and Parker's baked wheat pretzel twists have only 1.8g of sugar per 100g BUT...the sugar listed in the contents is glucose. Both are available from Coles supermarkets.

I found Orgran's chocolate mousse mix is made from dexrose, without cane sugar. It's super easy to make. Also it's also gluten and dairy free. I get it in the "health food aisle" at Ritchies or Coles.

It tastes chocolatey enough to squash my need for chocolate. That's why I got it- I was trying to talk myself out of buying dark chocolate to make another chocolate mousse I found in a recipe book because i read how much sugar was still in dark chocolate. Probably good if you only have the time or desire for a quick mix- literally add one cup of water and mix.

If you have more time, make one of the recipe page mousses with real cream, etc.
