    Hello folks

I’m at day 5 now of being cold turkey sugar free and I am intensley thirsty, I wonder if anyone else had the same reaction?

I normally get through 1.5 ltrs and 3 cups of milk a day anyway, but I can’t seem to get enough water today, I’m really craving it.

    Cheers

Hi David- thirst is much improved now, it's evened out and the raging thirst has gone, I've lost 2 cm off my waist in 2 weeks, weight is still the same, but that's OK

I too found in the first couple of weeks that I became extremely thirsty, just go with what your body is craving (except the sugar that is lol), it will all settle down it's just your body withdrawing from the fructose.

I can't say that I had a raging thirst, but I did find that I wanted to drink more water during those early days. It was actually quite a pleasant feeling, because I don't tend to drink enough water normally.  It's an interesting side-effect though, and a good one! I'm glad you mentioned it.
