I had a mistake after just a few weeks eating a chicken chow mein that must have had sugar in the sauce, and got the Eat Eat Eat thing for 2 days. But recently I had a filled roll while on holiday that had relish in it, and I ate it and had no discernible reaction, but this is 2 months on. So I count myself withdrawn, and will only consume sugar in a savoury dish if there is no other option.
I have got dextrose to bake with and have made a carrot cake, but don't feel compelled to make more, another sign I'm withdrawn fully I think!!
I'm certainly convinced that getting sugar out of my life is the best thing ever. People keep saying how well I look, and I don't get that draggy tiredness every afternoon, and sleep better as well. I keep noticing the people at work who get by on sugary drinks and I want to proselytize like a preacher. I resist the temptation. Usually.
