Hello there, this is all foreign to me, I have read both books, the second one twice and I have eliminated sugars to the best of my knowledge for around three weeks now, but when I am looking at a label on anything is sugar just my main concern and at what percentage do I put it straight back on the shelf. David I am sorry if you read this and think she hasnt read anything but I am going to blame it on the medication I am only daily for cancer treatment. I know if I can get all my questions sorted then I will see significant improvement in health. Cheers Cheryl

Cheryl, I try to eat only foods with 3g/100 or less of sugar on the label (except for dairy which has 5g per 100g of lactose which is fine - so that means your dairy limit is 8g per 100g).  If its a drink, go for 0g of added sugar (because its easy to consume several 100mls in a sitting) - Hope that helps?

    Cheers

    David.

Thank you so much I think I am getting the hang of it although I am eating too much at the moment perhaps need to cut back on the snacking of nuts but I am certainly checking labels a lot more.
