Sunshine Powdered milk question

    On the Sunshine powdered milk tin , it says the sugar content is 5%. Can I presume that it is lactose and therefore ok?

    Hi Marilyn
    I would check the ingredients panel just to see if there is a lot of added sugar and not much else, but if it had some sort of milk like product as the ingredients then it should be okay... one would hope :)

    thanks Tamara. I'll have another look but I don't think it says 'added sugar'. According to "the" book, normal milk is 4.7 which consists of lactose, so it's probably pretty spot on.
