Hi David
I realise you must be an extremely busy person, I paid for the subscription in the hope of learning more and hearing from others I also was hoping that you might be able to put in some input there are so many questions out there that really need answering. I have now been sugar free (well as far as I know) for a month now, I find I get hungry, I find I am also a little stressed ( not sure if it is because of the sugar ) basically I am going back to just trying to eat as naturally as possible.
It is amazing just how many things have sugar in it.
I look forward to hearing more stories from people and look forward to hearing more from you David
Kind regards
Debra
Hi Debra,
I appreciate your comments, I too have been on sugar free program just over a month (and going well), and I too have not had much feed back to from DG, (or anyone else). However, in meantime I have found the discussion forums really helpful. There seems to be a myriad of members with interesting backgrounds who are able to provide good sound nutritional advice, (and other information), as well as David, which I'm sure must make his job at times less demanding. I understand (from his book) that he is also married with numerous young children, so I guess we can't expect him to be glued to his keyboard 24/7!
Re your comment about feeling hungry (and stressed) - I find when this happens to me, I get stuck into some (low fructose) fruit, (pear, rockmelon, strawberries) + water, and hunger pangs (and stress) will disappear straight away.
If you are new like me and would like an online (sweet poison 'buddy'), feel free to keep in touch, I would be happy to share my sugar free and wt loss journey with you.
cheers,
Colleen
