In David's book "Toxic Oil" there is some very interesting discussion about Pattern A & Pattern B LDL, Oxidised LDL % and accuracy of blood tests in predicting cardiovascular disease.

All the blood cholesterol tests that I have been subjected to focus on total cholesterol and LDL/HDL levels.  Nothing is ever reported in the test results, nor spoken about by the GP or Cardiologist about Pattern A/B LDL, or Oxidised LDL %. The focus is always on reducing the LDL level through the use of Statins.

Does this mean that the 2001 research cited in David's book not being accepted as valid by the medical profession, or is there some other reason that these LDL measures aren't part of the blood testing procedures by now?

They don't like having their cages rattled. I  read more about it recently and when I  get over my computer crash problems I'll dig it out.I don't there is a blood test the determine Type A vs Type B. You could ask David directly by emailing from the Sweet Poison  web site.
