I get the sugar thing but has anyone noticed that it is difficult to avoid soya. It is in almost everything. Over 30 years ago I believed the hype about the new high protein wonder food, soya beans. I tried to introduce it to my diet but quickly learned it did not agree with my digestive system, so I stopped trying to ingest it in all it forms. These days it is everything...why? Cant buy bread etc without it. Love to see David take this one up with the flour producers!!

It's not really in everyting :-)  You must have been fitted with soy-blinkers!  Soy milk is not regarded as OK because it often loaded with sugar - check the NIPs.  Ans soy products generally contain large amounts of polyunsaturated fats, which, like margarine, are readily converted to trans fats.

It's probably best to avoid soy products all together.
