Hi, I'm finding it incredibly hard to get powered dextrose/glucose.  Is there a method to replacing the powered glucose with liquid glucose in the recipes?

I have tried about 10 shops, I can get it from a specialty shop on other side of Auckland, but it will be a special trip, in the meantime is there a way I can use the liquid?

    Thanks

It's such yukky stuff to deal with. But if you can't find the powdered form I guess it will do. It's the same chemical.

You have Coles stores in Auckland.  They're usually pretty good on stocking alternative style products.  And check out your local home-brew stores. Just check that is is pure "dextrose" - they also sell stuff with brewing-related additives.

I did a Google (NZ) search for " dextrose suppliers Auckland "  and got lots of hits.  Check them out.

    Hi,

Don't know if you have Big W in NZ but that's where I get mine from - in the home brewery section.

Maybe try a hardware shop that sells home brewery supplies?
