I apologise if this has been asked before but does anyone know how rice fits into the sugar free lifestyle? I assume white rice is high GI and therefore starch. Does it contain fructose? Or are you free to consume it regularly in its plain state?
many thanks

Hi,
Rice is a grain and as such has no sugar in any form - unless you add it.
It is high in carbs though so if you are watching your carbs you need to limit quantity as you would with pasta, bread etc.
