Anyone with fatty liver had their liver checked after trying DG's eating plan?

I have a fatty liver. I also suffer from impaired glucose tolerance (insulin resistant). I'm about 25kgs overweight and am on cholesterol tablets.
I'm 14 days into my new sugar free lifestyle but was just concerned about all this full fat stuff and its effect on my liver.
Has anyone else with fatty liver been on this plan for long and then had a follow up liver ultrasound? Am curious to see if their fatty liver got better or worse. My next ultrasound isn't until next April. My next Liver Function Test (blood test) is in 3 months.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
My wife was diagnosed as pre diabetic with a blood glucose reading of 42mmol/mol using a HbA1c test.  We have been sugar free now since June last year and her last blood glucose reading was 36mmol/mol. She is no longer pre diabetic.  She has lost 14kg. I have lost 18kg and have a blood glucose reading of 33mmol/mol.  My cholesterol check gave a triglyceride reading of 1.4 mmol/mol.  All the reading I have done indicates that the fatty liver comes from the fructose - not the fat in your diet.  We have bacon and eggs on toast with butter every day where possible. I say go for it.
