The Carob Kitchen was featured on the 14 May episode of "Landline". Since becoming a Sweet Poison convert and travelling 16 kgs lighter (lifelong gratitude to you, David) , I've been using Belgian Cocoa to bake my Lizzie the Legend recipes. The carob products sold by the Carob Kitchen are 100% carob. Is it OK to use this, instead of the cocoa? I'd much prefer to be buying an Australian product and supporting our farmers.

    Regards
    Trish

yes actually all their products are fine, they have a website you can check out their products.  I noticed they have a milk chocolate bar range, in the ingredients it didn't mention any sugar so it seems fine to have as well.  Just to note if cooking with carob, it may have a different or stronger taste so just adjust quantities if needed.

    Hello Patricia
I use the one made by Power Superfoods, I get it from my local (ish) health food shop.
I live in South Sydney.....Sutherland Shire and the shop is near Captain Cook bridge on the St. George side on the left going towards Sutherland.
    cheers
