Well that certainly contains some new and useful information, especially in relation to reduced calorie diets. But the poor fellow seems to be entirely ignorant of the role of sugar (fructose) in the whole process. The "calories-in/calories-out" method of losing weight has been largely debunked as it requires a LOT of willpower which most overweight people don't have . . . that's what got them into trouble in the first place! And exercising won't enable you to lose weight because it increases the appetite . . . more willpower required! Remember how people used to take a constitutional before dinner "to work up an appetite" ?
Couple all this with the billions of words and dollars which have been spent on ways and means of losing weight in the last 50 (?) years . . . and we still have the worst pandemic of obesity the world has ever seen. I am totally convinced by David and all his sources that avoiding fructose is the answer for most "sugarholics". And if you can't manage the small amount of willpower needed to clean out the rubbish in your pantry and hold your resolution to avoid fructose, then go see a counsellor to sort out your emotional blockages.
