Hi Pauline I use this one from my icecream maker book

    1 cup whole milk

3/4 cup Sugar (I use Natvia for Cooking or Dextrose)

    pinch salt

    2 cups thickened cream

    1 tabs pure vanilla extract

In a medium bowl mix the milk, sweetener and salt till sweetener dissolved. Then put in fridge for 1 to 2 hours or overnight (I have ony every left it for a couple of hours)

Pour into icecream maker frozen bowl and let mix until thickened about 15 to 20 minutes tilll nice soft creamy texture and pour into old icecream container, cover and freeze.  Sometimes mine goes hard so have to take out of freezer to sit before using.  Apparently if you buy some malt extract from Big W in beer brewing section and use 2 tsp per mixture it prevents from going hard.  Only just found this out so haven't tried it yet.  Let me know how you go. Cheers Carol

There are some great recipes in the Sweet Poison book.... I just whip up some cream, mash some frozen bananas, mix them together and eat like that or freeze for a little bit to firm up. It's great with the choc fudge sauce in the Sweet Poison book.

    Blessings
