Hi folks, We started the no sugar 6 odd years ago now and we are also vegetarian, well we don't eat meat fish chicken, love cheese, butter, lactose free full fat milk, full cream greek yoghurt, sour cream etc.
Give yourselves a chance to settle in to no sugar, go through your cupboards and pantry and throw out any thing that is over the 3gram per 100grams.
Believe it or not there is lots to eat out there, you just need to learn to sort through the crap to find it. You also have to be prepared to NOT have just about everything that is pre-prepared. Once you get your head around that you realise making sauces, curries, satays, chapati flat breads, the list is endless, becomes very easy. Rice dishes, polenta dishes, rice noodle dishes, simple and good to eat, cous cous is really great stuff.
It's a life style change folks, not a diet so get that out of your system first. If you change your life style it will work, for some really easy and fast, for some not so easy and not so fast.
If you think it is not working or you are struggling don't cane yourself. Think about why you are struggling or why you think it is not working. go back to the beginning, why are you doing it in the first place
My wife and I did it for health reasons and 6 odd years down the track it was the best decision we ever made. So folks stick with it, it is worth it.
Cheers Craig and Diana.
