The label denotes there is 4.6grams of sugar in a jar of organic pure almond spread. I like to have this on toast, but would like to think this is the natural sugar of the nut. Am I right with this. Also am trying Liquorice root drink recommended by Sara Wilson, it's very sweet, I wonder if anyone has had that experience? is it supposed to be so sweet? Am now into my second week of being sugar free. Have made the Ice cream out of David's book and think its very nice, but do I have to wait for the six to eight week period before I can have this as my treat? In one part of the book this is recommended, but in another, I think he is saying that if you go cold turkey, you are allowed to have the dextrose made sweets. Your thoughts are much appreciated.
