Hi everyone, I have been sugar free for 6 days now and sofar I have not had any major
withdrawal
symptoms, I think when I analysed my diet I did not eat a lot of sugar. No sugary drinks,
no sugar in coffee, only ate chocolate, lollies, cake, dessert when I went on an occasional binge.
I think having had type 1 diabetes for 36 years helps. But I still have a sweet tooth when I pig out.
I have started to do this program mainly to improve my health and hopefully to controll my blood
sugars better, as I only want to lose about 6kgs.
Anyway after that long introduction the question i want to ask is that I have read David's book
Big Fat Lies and the main thing I have got from that is that the type of fat he suggest not to eat makes
it very difficult to buy a lot of food because most of it has added 'vegetable oil', seed oils.
How are others approaching this. What type of food do you eat. Do you watch the type of fat you eat?
Or do you just watch the fructose, thinking that, that is hard enough to manage?
