Tried this- so much nicer than it sounds- super creamy!

    250g tub cottage cheese

local jelly of choice (I tried orange/mango)

Blend cottage chees to smooth lumps. Make jelly, blend into cheese.

Put in 4 pots, set as usual.

Eat! Simple and yum. Doesnt taste cheesy, more creamy.

I meant lo-cal! Not locally made! Check sweeteners to ensure from 'your call' list- usually are.

Hi Jane,  I tried your jelly cream recipe but couldn't get all the lumps out of the cottage cheese (I firstbeat it straight from the fridge but the next time I let it get to room temp. to see if that would help-it didn't)  Do you have a secret to smoothing the cheese mix?  I liked the taste but my husband was not interested because of the lumps.  Thanks  Catherine

    Hi Stuart,

I blend the cottage cheese with my Bamix style/stick- blender, that pulps everything, so no lumps! Have made it a few times now, and it would be yukky with lumps. But superyum without. Maybe a food processor would pulp the cheese too? Mixer wouldn't be ruthless enough, methinkx :)

    Goodluck,

    Jane

Dear Jane and Freda,  Thanks  I have a Kenwood but will try the blender part next time and if still lumpy will go with Freda and the marscapone.  Thanks girls  Catherine
