1 cup dextrose
2 tablespoons butter, softened at room temp but not melted
vanilla
milk
Mix the dextrose and the butter with a spoon, until mixed. Add vanilla and enough milk to make a smooth paste, beat well and then spread on cakes. The butter icing will set in the fridge and will have to be put in the fridge straight away. Or keep cake out and make icing before hand and put in fridge. Just add a little more milk to get a nice spreadable consistancy.
