lovely substitute for those who are low carbing
Ingredients
1 x 300g cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1/4 cups thick Greek-style yoghurt
1 tablespoons curry powder
1/2 cup ground almonds
3 green onions, finely sliced
1/4 cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
salt and pepper
Method
Place in a blender, chickpeas, yoghurt, curry powder, ground almonds (handy trick is to wizz up almonds first then add the rest of the ingredients) and corriander. Mix until smooth. Transfer to bowl and stir through green onions, add salt and pepper to taste. Form into paties and put in fridge until firm. Heat some oil in a pan on medium to low heat. Add patties and fry until golden brown.
