Homemade peanut butter

    For those who need this tasty, nutritious treat on their toast in the morning, it can be made in a couple of minutes, and few recipes seem to contain sugar although some suggest sugar can be added to taste. I guess dextrose can be added in place of table sugar.

    I have not tried this, but perhaps some adventurous soul might try to substitute a portion of the peanut oil with either glucose syrup, or the far sweeter tasting  rice or barley malt syrup/extract. Indeed the recipe (see link below) suggests substituting honey for peanut oil...so I guess the malt syrup should work.
