    Is there anything you can use to substitute Brown Sugar in cooking

    Brown sugar is just white sugar with a bit of molasses added.  So you can use dextrose with a bit of rice malt syrup.  Depending on the recipe and how much caramel type flavouring you want/need you can do a half and half substitution or all rice malt syrup.
