In terms of withdrawl it seems everyone is different. The haziness etc you describe sounds like withdrawl to me. I had 3 days of withdrawl only (so lucky!) and it consisted of awful headaches and unquenchable thirst. I think I got through it very lightly! I've been fructose-free since 1 March and have only had sugar on 2-3 occasions since then. Each time I've felt off all day the next day - vaguely hungry and dissatisfied (ate large quantities of non-fructose snacks on those days) and felt generally blah. It's all very interesting!
Good luck with it all - and keep up the good work!
Thank you Michelle,
Yes she is ok now, has a bad cough poor little princess :'(!!!!
it was definitely a test... i spent so long wondering why i was doing this, and if i really wanted to, i didnt decide that i definitely wanted to do this... but i put the chocolate away, so i guess deep down i know that i do want to. its just weird i guess, the thought of goign out for dinner and not gettin COKE with my drink, or not eating a chocolate like right now while im on the computer. but i said if i can do 1 day, i can do 2. and now if ive done 3 i can do another 3.... surely!!!!
yes the thirst you talk about... its crazy. i have that too... its like your whole mouth is doing somersaults trying to absorb the water you give it...!!!!
yes you are lucky that your withdrawals werent much, very lucky. i got my fingers crossed its all over now day 4 tomorrow. but somehow i think imight be wrong. i read stuff in the other forums about withdrawals weeks into it.... arrghhhhh!!!!
well done for doing so well and even when you have something that you know isnt good, you feel the difference, yes very interesting indeed!!!!
:)
