How Much Sugar?

I'm just not hungry anymore!

I've been sugar free for nearly 2 weeks now and the thing that has amazed me the most is that I'm just not hungry anymore!

When I was addicted to sugar I would eat every couple of hours because I would get quite hungry, and when I didn't eat I would sometimes feel dizzy or faint. Now I can go for 5 or 6 hours without eating and not be hungry. It will get past lunch time and I think 'I really should eat something for lunch I guess'. I have also become aware of how often I go to the pantry or fridge looking for something to eat simply out of habit, but now I stand there and think 'what am I doing? I'm not even hungry!'

So, here's my question for today: Do I delay eating until I really do feel hungry, or still eat at meal times (i.e. 3 times a day) even though I'm not all that hungry yet?

    Cheers, Jen

    Great going Jennifer

I have been sugar free 6 months and I know exactly what you are saying.  I found it better to have something small at lunch time or I would look for something at 3  and be tempted to nibble of rubbish or not healthy.   6 months on I find my body has addapted and I have a better eating habit and have 3 meals but lots smaller.  I found good a couple of seame biscuits with cream cheese and tomato which was light but filled to void later.

    Keep up the good work.
