I was in a meeting this afternoon, and the chap sitting next to me had consumed a 500ml can of the high energy drink called 'mother'.
I read the NIP on the can, and it has 52g of sugar per serve (which is 500ml). I'm aiming for 10g of fructose or less each day, so that's 5 days worth of sugar just in that one drink! It's a heart attack in a can.
