I found Kewpie Mayonnaise in Asian section Woolworths. 0 sugars per 100g  Ingredients soybean, egg, mustard.

Also Hinode sweet mirin cooking sauce 0 sugars per 100ml
Ingredients Glucose, water, glutinous rice, alcohol, rice extract.

Also sugar free Nori sheets available as well

Tamari soy sauce health foods section woolworths 0.1g sugar per 100ml

I would love to make some sugar free Sushi. Can someone please check it out and see if I am correct.

    Hi

I have just started on the sugar free diet (well actually this is day 3 and doing well so far), but am wondering about the sugar content of takeaway Thai.  I tend to have an easy night once a week and my general choice is a Thai stir-fry with rice.  Just wondering if Thai is generally ok or what sorts of things are better choices than others.

By the way David, I manage a bookstore, and we have sold a lot of copies of your book since it was released, but will now be selling a lot more!!  It just makes so much sense.

    Regards

    Deb

    Deb,

Welcome!  Glad you enjoyed the book!

Thai food is often a problem cos of the sauces.  Brown sugar is a base ingredient for many Thai sauces.  I am working on a guide to condiments at the moment - stay tuned!

    Cheers

    David.
