I'm on day one! Started out really well....felt a little strange having my home-made sugar free muesli without a few blueberries chucked in but substituted with a dollop of full fat Greek yogurt and it was lovely!
I too, ate pretty much all low fat/no fat foods & was amazed at the hidden sugars! I work out 6 days a week but couldn't shift any weight! Probably because of all the low fat food and fruit I would eat daily!
I am still a little scared and reluctant to eat all full fat items because my brain is hard wired to think "i'll get fat" but I will do it! I'm a little scared of fruit now too! I haven't had any at all today - and do not intend on having any.
I had cut sugar from my coffee a couple of weeks ago which wasn't hard because I would only have half a teaspoon of Nativa before anyway.
I was doing sooooo well up until about 3pm. I started to get pretty peckish and REALLY tired! To the point that I would have gone to bed if my partner was home to watch our 3 year old!
Also was feeling bloated??
Then about 4:30pm the sugar craving came. I tried nuts, cheese, green tea.....nothing worked. So I grabbed a Pepsi Max from the fridge. I am not a soft drink person at all. But I have to say the first sip was soooo sweet and it hit the spot. Craving gone.
I mostly crave sweets after dinner.....so far, so good!
