hi there my name is julz im in my 30's and from nz i have suffered from yoyo dieting since my early teens i have had 3 kids and always lost my weight afterwards until my third child who is nearly5 and since her birth i have put on 30 kilos i have never ever found a true answer to my mood swings my extreme highs and lows and my yoyo dieting and after weeks of research i came across this lifestyle choice ordered the book looked up online everything i could about being sugar free and i have never looked back. your reading about someone who was skipping meals for chocolate bars starving myself of calories just to pig out on ice cream and lollies i always needed a sugar hit at 3 oclock and by 6pm i was exhausted i was living a sugarholic nightmare i was amazingly suprised for someone so addicted to chocolate how easy it was to find food which fitted davids criteria i am 3 weeks sugar free 6.3kgs lighter and i feel amazing and seem to eat more food than i ever have. The first week was hard and i still suffer from lack on concentration in the afternoons i feel amazing i am so so greatful to have found this lifestyle choice i have just started the kids on it as well i intend to stay  frctose free outside of the 3% sugar guideline at least until i reach goal i hope this inspires you and wish you all well in your journey i will repost and update soon

    love this lifestyle choice

As one (expatriate) Kiwi to another . .  good on you! That's fantastic, and so easy, eh!

You mention staying "dextrose" free. I presume you meant fructose-free. Dextrose is a form of glucose and is an excellent substitute for sucrose (cane sugar) in recipes etc.

Which book(s) of David's have you read?  Sweet Poison Quit Plan is probably the best one to start with. But  Big Fat Lies  is well worth reading too, especially in relation to polyunsaturated fats.

Please keep us posted on your progress.
