Hi Everyone...  I've been sugar-free now for two weeks and I must say how pleased I am with how its going for me.  So far I haven't had any major cravings for sugar, only when I am getting groceries and get that temptation to buy chocolate or a flavoured milk drink, but its not hard resist.  I feel great, have lost 1.5 kilos and am most surprised by the feeling of fullness I have after eating a meal.  Usually I am a grazer and spend most the day snacking on sweet food, but for the first time ever I understand what it is to feel full.  It is a feeling that I was unfamiliar with.

Since I have read "Sweet Poison", I'm actually quite revolted by the amount of sugar that is contained in our day to day food items.  I spent a couple of hours in the local supermarket going through loads of stuff just to see what the sugar content was - I was absolutely shocked.  With the knowledge of what sugar does to our bodies, I am finding it easy to resist it.  I want to be healthy and loosing a few kilos will be a bonus!  I am hoping to get some inspiration from this website.

Hi Dianna - that feeling of being full and able to control your eating is pretty great, isn't it ? That's the first thing I noticed and still the main benefit in my mind, although I've certainly lost a lot of weight.
