I am 73 years of age and still teaching English and History in a local secondary school. I am very overweight and have a heart condition and am on a variety of medication. I have tried Curves and lost 3 kg, have tried Xndo shakes and lost 1 kg but for the last 4 months, even though continuing with the Xndo shakes, i have not lost a single gram.

Very interested in your book but for me there seems to be a lot of information i still need.  I joined this website but the information is really the same as in your book, which was disappointing as i expected more...still have been sugar free for one week now and want to continue

I felt there was good info in the book, but it's not like a dictatorial diet, it's experiential, you have to try things for yourself, engage your brain, and not hand over to some diet-guru.

I'd hate to see David go down that path, I love the simple concepts laid out so far and find it incredibly helpful. Think of foods you like to eat that contain no fructose, and start eating when hungry only. Don't get too full. Experiment. See what happens.

I like to go for walks, but they are not strenuous or exhausting, I think of them as promenades for relaxation. That's my extra fillip! Weight loss is variable, but I'm doing well.

It's very different from dieting, give it time, and re-read the books, it's all there really. Good luck!
