Hi everyone. I was a skeptic - more for myself and whether I could actually give up sugar - not the actual facts. Then I heard David's podcast with Richard Fidler and I was sold! I went and bought the Sweet Poison Quit Plan the very next day and read that with my husband. What a great read too! We have been Fructose Free now for a month and I am thrilled with how I am feeling.

I was one of these people who were looking for food all the time, and so it made complete sense to me to quit the sugar and get my life back under control. I was seriously considering some sort of therapy because I thought I had an issue with food! I realised very quickly that I had an issue with Fructose and that I am "Fructose Intolerant" like someone in the book said!

I am thrilled with my weightloss (almost 6kg) in the month, that is with no exercise at all! I am more thrilled with the way I am feeling satisfied and not looking for food - especially sweets!

Our 5 year old daughter is coping with the "no sugar" rule quite well - and I can't believe how much her behaviour has changed. She asked me a couple of times why we're not eating sugar anymore, and I told her it's because mummy and daddy are fat and we don't want her to get fat too! She accepts that and the new regime really well. She asks me all the time if something has sugar in it now...so even a 5 year old can understand the dangers of sugar. We made some fructose free icecream from the recipes in the back of the book and she loved making it and eating it.

Thank you David! I finally feel healthy and feel like I am helping my family be healthy. :)

    Tammy
