Hi Ladies,
Great to read about your journey, I read Davids books 2 weeks ago (I read it in 1 day as couldn't put it down! was so shocked!!)....
So I have been sugar-free for 14 days, and I have lost only 0.5kg. I have been on weight watchers since January this year and lost total 9kg to-date. I still have another 8 to go to my goal weight, this book really hit home that my whole way of thinking "low-fat" needs to be readjusted. Most of food I was eating was fat free and yes now I know - FULL of sugar! So although I have been losing weight on WW for 8 months, its been slow and I want to try this no-sugar not for weight loss but for the health benefits.
I am concerned i am overeating, are you able to detail what you ladies are eating in a day? I am having usually egg, bread, milk for breakfast. 10 rice crackers and handful of Nuts for morning tea. Ham and salad sandwich for lunch. yoghurt & berries for afternoon tea and then dinner (meat and veg/pasta).
Hope you are all going well, are you still experiencing withdrawal symptoms? I seem alot better the last couple of days... Did have headaches and tiredness earlier.
Thanks again for posting, its encouraging to hear others stories.
CHeers,
Jodie
