Have read the book and have been pretty amazed at what I have read about sugar. I will have my last sugar meal tommorow and go cold turkey. I am all or nothing type of person. At this point I cant believe that I will have any withdrawals as I dont consider myself to be a sugar type person. I would say much more a savoury one, however when I read the book I was dumbfounded but all the added sugar even in these foods. I have a bit of weight to lose about 10 kgs but I am hoping it will improve my energy levels and general health. I will have lots of questions no doubt and will keep you posted. First up to get ingredients for Davids family muesli recipe that sounds great. I am a registered nurse and am well trained in the low fat bit, I know that will be challenge to change to full fat varieties as mentally I will be thinking of the arteries. Wish me luck.

    Welcome to the club Elizabeth

I have been only going for 2 weeks on the no sugar.  Check your low fat milks etc as some of the low fat milks, especially coles etc are they same as full cream.  Also the plain chips of coles and homebrands are also lower than the top brands.  Also Cardini's ceasar sauce is low in sugar and really nice.(not easy to find in queensland).

    Good Luck

Don't worry about the fat content.  As your appetite control returns your body will automatically limit how much you can eat (fat included).

    Good Luck Elizabeth!

    Cheers

    David.
