    My wife spotted the Peters "no sugar added" icecream at the shops today and thoughtfully bought me some.
    I'm a bit baffled as to whether it is OK though.
    The icecream guide puts it as number one, but doesn't seem to take into account the sorbitol and polydextrose, which are mentioned in raisin hell blogs as not being good.

    Any recommendation as to whether I should try eating some or not? The sugar % if you include the sorbitol and polydextrose actually seems quite high, about 25%

    I wouldn't eat it.  I do have concerns about the polydextrose and the sorbitol, for the reasons I set out in Raisin Hell.  And you're right, I don't make that clear in the ice-cream guide.  I'll make sure that is amended. Sloppy Sloppy work Sad
